What is TMJ?
TMJ, or your temporomandibular joint, is the joint that connects the lower jaw with the skull. When someone refers to TMJ correction, it typically means finding a solution for a number of problems associated with the joint such as:
- Constant headaches or migraines
- Severe earaches
- Teeth grinding, clenching
- Pain in the neck, head, or shoulders
- An inability to fully open or close your mouth
- Clicking Jaws
- Postural problems
- Numbness in the hands and fingers
If you have any of these symptoms, your TMJs may be out of alignment and need correction.
